Privacy is not a setting. It is how Garage is built.

Garage is designed so your car service documents and the data extracted from them do not need to be sent to a developer-controlled server.

1. Data Garage collects

Garage does not collect, transmit, sell, or make available to the developer personal data, service-order contents, maintenance history, mileage, or other information you add to the app. Garage has no user accounts, advertising SDKs, user tracking, or usage analytics.

2. On-device processing and storage

Scanning, recognition, and structuring of service documents happen on the device. Original documents, recognized records, mileage, and reminders are stored locally in the app's data and are not sent to a Garage server.

3. Camera, photo library, and notification access

Garage may request access to the camera or photo library only to add a service document. Notifications may be used for local maintenance reminders. These permissions are controlled by iOS and can be changed in device settings.

4. Device backups

Depending on your iOS settings, app data may be included in a system device backup. Those backups are managed by Apple and your device settings, not by a Garage server or the developer.

5. Third-party services

Garage does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs to collect user data. If that changes in a future release, this policy and the App Privacy information in the App Store will be updated before the change takes effect.

6. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Garage features or applicable requirements change. The current version will always be published on this page.
